چکیده: اصابت مستقیم و القائات ناشی از اصابت القائات غیر مستقیم صاعقه می تواند اثرات مخربی بر روی سایتها و سیستمهای ارتباطی گذاشته و علاوه بر خسارات مالی، پایداری اطلاعات و گردش اطلاعات را نیز تهدید می کند. لذا حفاظت از تجهیزات و مجتمع های مخابراتی در برابر صاعقه توسط برقگیر های فعال از اهمیت فوق العاده ای برخوردار می باشد. برقگیر فعال با فن آوری های مختلف ( خازنی –اتمی و...) هوای اطراف خویش را یونیزه می نماید و بدین وسیله ایمنی بیشتری را ایجاد می نماید. برقگیرهای فعال با توجه به توان ایمنی به کلاس های 1و2و3 تقسیم می شوندکه بایستی با توجه به 3 مولفه (کلاس حفاظتی – شعاع حفاظت – ارتفاع برقگیر نسبت به سطح زمین) مورد استفاده قرار گیرند. ارتباط بین برقگیر و سیستم زمین توسط هادی میانی انجام می شود که بسته به ارتفاع ساختمان یا دکل مخابراتی بایستی از سیم مسی به قطر مناسب (50-75-90 و...) استفاده کرد. مهمترین مولفه یک سیسنم زمین مقدار مقاومت آن است که هر چه پایین تر باشد بهتر است. که مفصلاً در این پروژه به آن پرداخته شده است.
