چکیده: در شركتهای خدماتی افراد عنصر اصلی سازمان محسوب می شوند. بالطبع افراد موجود در این سازمانها دارای یكسری نیاز هستند كه با برآوردن این نیازها، انگیزش در آنان افزایش می یابد. در تحقیق حاضر به دنبال شناسایی نیازها و ارزیابی تأثیر نیازها در انگیزش كاركنان هستیم. روش تحقیق، روش توصیفی از نوع همبستگی است. برای جمع آوری اطلاعات از ابزار مطالعه مصاحبه و پرسشنامه استفاده شده است. جامعة آماری تحقیق شامل كاركنان امور اداری شركت ملی گاز تهران بزرگ بوده است. روش نمونه گیری تصادفی ساده بوده است.حجم نمونه برابر با 20 نفر از كاركنان اداره مذكور بود. از بررسی و تجزیه و تحلیل اطلاعات و نتایج حاصله مشخص گردید كه تركیب نیازهای شدید كاركنان در مقطع زمانی انجام پژوهش نیاز به كسب موفقیت، نیاز ایمنی، نیاز به رشد و پیشرفت، نیاز به نظم، نیازهای زیستی، نیاز به استقلال، نیازهای اجتماعی بوده كه با نادیده گرفته شدن این نیازها، میزان انگیزش كاركنان تقلیل یافته است.
