چکیده: موسیقی یکی از هدفهای زیباست که از ابتدای خلقت در نهاد طبیعت مستور بوده . آهنگ مرغان خوش نوا، وزش باد و حرکت برگ درختان، لغزش آب جویباران و ریزش آبشارها موسیقی ابتدائی بشر و اولین آموزگار انسان در آموختن این هنر بوده است.
موسیقی زبانی است که انسان به یاری آن می تواند کما بیش آنچه رادر ضمیر مکنون و مکتوم خویش دارد به میان آورد.
از سوی دیگر موسیقی وسیله ای است که یک موسیقیدان ( خلاق موسیقی ) بسته به احساس، دانسته های عمومی، جهان بینی و انسانیت خویش از آنچه که نزد استادان خود فرا گرفته و خود نیز آنها را به تجربة عملی گذارده، بهره گرفته و مکنونات قلبی، آرزوهای نهفته فردی و یا سرکوب شدة اجتماعی را باز آفریند.
اینک بی مناسبت نیست اندکی هم از تأثیر صنعت موسیقی گفته شود.
بعضی از هنرمندان خواسته اند هنرهای زیبا را با هم مقایسه کنند و شدت تأثیر یکی را بر دیگری بیان نمایند ( خصوصاً در تأثیر شعر و موسیقی و اهمیت یکی بر دیگری سخنها گفته اند ولی انگار تأثیر موسیقی در عموم بیش از شعر است و اگر شعر با موسیقی توأم شود و اثرش به مراتب بیش از موسیقی تنها و شعر بی آهنگ است.
توجه خاص جوانان ایرانی به موسیقی و شنیدن آهنگهای بی محتوا که متأسفانه بیشترین بخش موسیقی رادیوئی و تلویزیونی ما را تشکیل می دهند از طرفی و فراهم نمودن وسایل و موجباتی که بتوان موسیقی حقیقی را به گوش مردم رسانید از طرف دیگر مرا بر آن داشت که وضع این هنر را با روشی که دانشته و تغییراتی که به ندرت در آن راه یافته مورد تحقیق و بررسی قرار داده و نتایج آن را در اختیار خوانندگان علاقه مند به این هنر قرار دهم.
